Author of several fundamental documentaries about jazz, poetry or the comic strip, Ron Mann appears as a cultural historian before a film director. Apprentice of the mythical Emile De Antonio, considered the father of the political documentary, this citizen of Toronto began his career in Hollywood working for Ivan Reitman

He has specialized in distribution (he holds several international masters). Since 2007, he is in charge of the distribution Co. Paco Feria was born in Terrassa on April the 5th of 1960, and by the year 1986 he began his studies of photography at the Institut d´Estudis Fotografics de Catalunya. In 1992, on the very same day that the Barcelona Olympic Games were inaugurated, in July, he professionalized himself, by publishing his first photographs on a local mass media of the region of El Baix Llobregat. In a relatively short time, his amount of clients had increased to the point that, only 6 years later, in 1998, he was already looking for new challenges in his work as a photojournalist and the chance came literally with a Hurricane, the Mitch, which devastated Central America at the beginning of November of the same year. Almost without thinking, he took a plane and flew to Nicaragua following the sign of the tragedy, then he opened a fascinating course for new experiences, primarily as a person and afterwards as a photographer, which have brought him to meet and reflect with his camera the people and places of almost half the world.

He has published the following books: “Nicaragua: La eterna esperanza”, “Refugiats Afganesos. De L´oblit a la memòria”, “S.O.S marea negra en Galicia”, “Saharauis, diario de los campamentos”, “Sant Boi ciutat singular”.

Right now, he is involved in other productions such as: “Nueva Carteya… una Andalucía en transición”, and “Diario íntimo de mujeres, conflictos de la Tierra”.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Information Sciences by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and is a specialist technician in image and sound by EMAV (School of Audiovisual Means of Barcelona).
