Chiloé Island burns with anger and oppression. A market and extraction-heavy economic model has poisoned the surrounding sea and brought about a social crisis without limits. Food is what is at stake and the Chilean government will not resolve what it has been complicit in causing alongside the salmon industry. The social movement struggles on, but the institutions will try to silence it.
