The need to explain nature is inherent in human beings. In ancient times, countless myths and legends explained how the phenomenon and natural formations were created by gods and demigods with divine powers and human weaknesses. The Greek myth explains the formation of the Pyrenees by telling a love story between Pyrene and Heracles. However, the rocks tell us a different story.
